RESIDENTS OF CESIS ARE ALSO TAKING INITAIVE!
Spring and women – it’s about a new beginning, brightness, and love. Unfortunately, Ukraine is experiencing a hard and a cruel third spring. Side by side with the heroic defenders – men, women also fight against the aggressor. A large part of for them, in the name of their motherland, exchanged a calm everyday life and an orderly civil life for the opportunity to forge the victory of Ukraine.
Out of respect for such choices and with the hope to welcome a spring full of peace again, the initiative to HELP WOMEN ON THE UKRAINE FRONT was born on the side of Cēsis. In cooperation with the association “Tavi draugi” and the support of Cēsis county libraries, we invite you to donate necessary things to women in the month of March, such as:
Hygienic pads / tampons
Toothpastes / brushes
Antifungal agents
Wet wipes
Nail scissors / pliers
Creams / lip balms
Baby powders against abrasion
Intimate hygiene care wipes
In the Cēsis region, these items can be handed over to libraries throughout March, and there is also an opportunity to help financially by donating to this project here.
Women all over the world are the same! Let’s help those who are in wet and cold trenches instead of a warm and cozy home!
